Opened in 2000 through the efforts of Patrick Batt and the late Lion Barnett, with the generosity of Bank of America, the Castro Community Meeting Room(CCMR) is a private meeting space located at 501 Castro Street in the BofA building. It is open for non-profit neighborhood and community groups in the Castro to hold meetings and other small events in a location that is convenient, safe, culturally competent and welcoming. The room opens at 7AM and closes at 10PM and is available most days of the year.
