The CCC, in partnership with the Drug Overdose Prevention & Education (DOPE) Project of San Francisco will be providing two basic trainings for the administration of Naloxone in cases of overdose.   This training includes how to recognize an overdose, what puts people at risk for an overdose, how to respond to an overdose with naloxone, how to develop a protocol for overdose response and policy implementation, and what the context and current trends are around overdose in San Francisco.

The two available training dates are Friday Feb. 7th 5:30-6:30pm and Wednesday Mar. 4th 3:00-4:00pm.  Please arrive 10 minutes early.  The training will begin on time and lasts one hour.  The training is free.  Some naloxone kits may be available at the training, or a referral will be provided to pick up a free kit at CBHS Pharmacy at 1380 Howard Street.
