Volunteer

The success of the Castro Country Club is driven by our volunteers. The cafe is open 365 days a year providing a safe oasis in the heart of the Castro. Come let us train you to be a barista or maybe part of the Mascara production team. The year provides lots of other opportunities to be of service.

Although the Castro Country Club is fiscally sponsored by Community Initiatives, the Club is entirely self-supporting through café revenue and other community support. THANK YOU for considering volunteering at the Castro Country Club!

We rely on our volunteers to keep the club running as we strive to serve the community that continues to support us. It is the policy of the organization to provide equal opportunities without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

Castro Country Club partners with Positive Resource Center to provide opportunities for job skills building, education, and support services. In addition to our barista training, you can enroll in computer classes, learn Microsoft Office Suite, improve your resume writing and interviewing skills, and participate in career counseling at PRC.  Participation is not required to volunteer.
